Santa Rita winery was founded in 1880 by Domingo Fernandez Concha in the Alto Jahuel region. After almost a century the ownership of the winery was taken over by the Garcia Huidobro family. The Santa Rita vineyards are today sited at the most diverse and well-suited areas of Chile to guarantee you the best quality of wines produced from the assorted variety of grapes.

 

The vineyard has over 3000 hectares of extensive land in Chile’s most exceedingly valued valleys of Limari, Colchagua, Rapel, Casablanca, Leyda, Maipo, Curico and Apalta. This marvelous and miscellaneous geography allows their winegrowers to craft wines of the finest quality wines from particularly best adapted lands.

 

The viticulturists of the winery have implemented various steps to develop the vineyards and its varietal environment. Balanced and sustainable viticultural methods have been adopted to ensure products of the international standard. Their specialties include popular wines such as Casa Real, Medala Real, Pehuen and Floresta.

 

The experts and other passionate professionals of the Santa Rita winery with their oenological know-how and the installation of the most up-to-date technology have been able to produce high quality wines that have been admired by both critics and consumers alike. They have been awarded in Chilean as well as foreign wine competitions repeatedly.
