Felipe Rutini

Felipe Rutini winery was founded in 1885 when an Italian immigrant named Felipe Rutini planted his first vines at the present-day site of Maipu, in the province of Mendoza. Since then this winery has been time and again highly praised for the exceptional class and character of its wines.
Rutini Wines presently have possession of 255 hectares of vineyard properties in Mendoza, La Consulta, Rivadavia, Tupungato and Altamira. The abundance of estate land lets them grow each grape variety in the region that is particularly well-suited for its cultivation.
The grapes collected from Rutini’s vineyards go through a careful selection. The harvest and de-stemming of the best grapes is done manually. The grapes are then subjected to a month long fermentation and maceration. New French oak is used for the purpose of ageing. The wine is stored in the barrel for a fortnight and is bottled unfiltered.
Felipe Rutini winery has grown over the years and their sole objective is to make wines of the best quality. Their original blends can only be produced in exceptional vintages and in small quantities. Their products are internationally acclaimed and exported to many countries. Rutini wines have partaken and often been awarded in various international wine competitions. The Wine Spectator has too acknowledged the sheer ingenuity of their winegrowing techniques.
